Top Honeymoon Cruises
|
Do you love the idea of waking up to
a different exotic port every day while fine dining every night? If
this sounds good to you, then booking a honeymoon cruise is the way to go.
There are cruises to the Caribbean, South America, Mexico, Hawaii, the
Mediterranean, and Alaska, just to name a few. On a cruise ship
there is always lots to do and the only thing you'll have to worry about
is deciding what to do next. When picking a cruise, you'll probably want to consider
a line that caters to couples, such as yourself. Certain lines, like
Disney are more family oriented cruises while Princess and Crystal cruise
lines are a little more upscale and are more for Honeymoon couples.
Crystal Cruises
Crystal cruises has ranked #1 for the past nine years
in Travel & Leisure magazine for the large ship category. Crystal
has one of the highest guest-to-staff ratios, largest average guest space,
and the highest repeat customer base. Since these are larger luxury
ships, there are more entertainment options available, such as Caesar's
Palace at Sea casino, The Crystal Wine & Food Festival, Broadway style
revues, and a number of boutique restaurants. The Penthouse suites
come in three categories all of which have a verandah, butler service, and
marble baths with Jacuzzi tubs.
Crystal Cruises is based in Los Angeles with
destinations to Asia,
Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Alaska, New England/Canada and the
Panama Canal.
SeaDream Yacht Club
The SeaDream I and SeaDream II are smaller luxury
yachts with outstanding service and food. These cruises are all inclusive
so you don't have to worry about running a tab. The dining is as you
wish so you don't have to dress up formal wear for a nice meal. As
opposed to the bigger ships' which arrive at a port of call in the morning
and leave at night, SeaDream's yachts often stay overnight at their ports
of call, but the captain has flexibility to stay longer or take off sooner
if weather is bad. The captain also will often take guests on
excursions to his or her favorite places.
Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises is known for their innovative features
like its Personal Choice Dining Program which lets you opt for traditional
style seating or a more flexible open style seating plan. Princess
also offers a Scholar Ship at Sea program
which features numerous educational and hobby oriented learning in areas
that range from cooking to digital photography. The bigger ships
have a high percentage of suites and mini-suites which means you won't
have to splurge as much. The Caribbean Princess features "Movies
under the Stars" where you view movies outside on a large LED screen while
relaxing in padded loungers.
